Giving

Tomorrow, December 2, the College Church in Fresno will be having their annual Harvest Day when they collect all their mission’s money for the entire year. Since College is our sponsoring church, what it given directly affects our ministry in Lausanne and throughout Europe.

Please keep this church and our work in your prayers.

    Done and done!

It was cool seeing you on the pre-recorded video. Your hair looks shorter than from what I remember. You look good though. Today, I was sitting next to another person who has visited with you in Lausanne and she got a little teary eye when she saw you up there. We miss you Brady and we love what you are doing for God. God Bless you and all the missionaries out there! :o)

I have never had a more emotional Harvest Day. It had to do partly with Martin’s message, partly with growing closer to you through blogging, and partly to do with watching your dad watch your video.

Brady, I am so proud to be a small part of what you and Stephanie are doing.

I talked with your mom on the way to class and we agreed that YOU should have heard Martin’s sermon. He revitalized by awareness and enthusiasm for spreading God’s good news and made me realize that we may plant the seed but we have no idea how long it will take to start growing.

I know that you are sometimes frustrated with a perceived “lack of growth” there. I want you to know that the mission is God’s and you are simply a faithful participant in it. You will someday learn just how fruitful your life is.

I love you, brother. I’m grateful for you.

Yesterday was the first morning we used the heat in the auditorium. So, by 3/4 of the way through the service, I HAD to step out and catch my breath. It was so blazing hot! I came back in while the video’s were running and chose to stand in the back while they ran. I was glad I did…the combination of seeing you, hearing you, and watching your Dad was so sweet, so tender, and extremely emotional. I was glad I was in the back where nobody could watch me!

What a blessing to be in this together! To have a message of salvation and partner in the spreading of that message. You blessed us yesterday and we love you!
