The spiritual internship is a year when Christians or wanna-bes can go to Marseilles and receive Bible instruction by very talented teachers each morning of the week. The church there is in a difficult area of town, so the afternoons are spent in community service, activities with the older folks in the neighborhood, choral and theatrical presentations, kids' programs, etc. Add to that camp counseling, a survey trip to French-speaking Africa, several retreats and lectureships, a choir tour… It makes for a great year.
