Brady, do you realize that a year ago you picked up two red-eyed, non-French speaking, American college students, had them do a introduction meeting right away, and then off to a French speaking retreat. (By the way, they still send me emails, but they're in French so I have no idea what they are saying)

Happy Ascension Day!

Our benefice (one vicar, 4 village churhes) celebrated Ascension Day with 3 services, and we had a great discussion and reflection time in our women's Bible study (meets in my home on Thursday afternoon). We're in the gospel of John so to be different, we based our study around the passage in John 6.62 and the preceding Bread of Life passage, where Jesus introduces his disciples to the different celebratory/memorial practice and to even a new concept of an all-inclusive Heaven. And then we reflected on how we embrace the discipleship completed byJesus' ascension and live out this side of the story. Anyway, it was a real blessing, and so encouraging to read your post today.

Blessings to you, Wife, and kids!

I think I'll always remember the time you spoke at College about the ascension. It was the first time I'd even HEARD of Ascension Day. You opened my eyes to some other things that morning as well. I truly appreciate your study and your willingness to share God's Word with both saved and unsaved.
