“Mary” update

I got to talk to "Mary" yesterday and things are not good. She is now in a mental hospital and heavily drugged. When we talked she said she was very tired and didn’t want anyone to do anything for her.

Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. This is a tough one. We have been praying so much that her voice go away. And now she’s worse off than ever.

I am assuming “Marie” = “Mary”. This does sound difficult. While things are looking worse, it is still not over. God is in control.

Saddened to hear that. I want to believe God has tender mercy upon such burdened people. After all, if an earthly father can show such mercy, now much more our heavenly Father?

    Thanks Blake. I meant “Mary”.

There is a tremendous crush of emotion when we see the situation as hopeless.

Thank you for hanging in there for Mary. We’ll continue to pray.

We are continuing to pray for Mary. I know how difficult this situation is (have experienced something of the sort in the church here) and we are praying for you all as well.

Prayers from here as well. There are few things more challenging to me than “unanswered” prayer.

One of the things I have learned about God and how He answers prayer is that He will answer, it just doesn’t always happen when we want Him too. Maybe that is why LOVE and PATIENCE go together.
