MR. Gore also prefers private jets to first class on commercial. So much for his contribution to a more “green” environment. But that’s about the best I’ve come to expect from a politician … any politician.

Hey, hey, easy with the “Florida smack.” My county (Brevard) used a bubble in scantron so we were “hanging chad / re-count” free.

BTW - Al must be doing better for right after that election, one of our members was on the same Southwest Airlines flight with him.

Regardless of your feelings for Mr. Gore, or his adherance to his own suggestions, “An Inconvenient Truth” is required viewing for citizens/stewards of the earth.

The only thing that I did not like about the Oscars was all of the “brown nosing” to Al Gore. Congrats to him on his Oscar, but his reception there was a little too much. The only thing missing was the palm branches on the red carpet.

Hey Brady! How’s it going? I’m back in operation with a home computer, and I’m so glad to be back in touch.

Mr. Gore’s electric bill news is because of even bigger electric bill news involving some local Memphis politicians who were on a list at MLGW to not have their electricity cut off. It’s a big deal right now, and calls are being made for the head of the utility company to step down. Great fun!

The best original thought I can come up with is that “retirement is wonderful”………….especially if you get to do it at a very young age!!!

More later. You and your family have been iin my thoughts and prayers. If you have some extra prayer time, add the name “John” to your list. God knows the need.

The HPV immunization raises a lot of moral questions, worthy of good discussions with our daughters. If it is available when/if I have a daughter in her pre-teen years, she will be getting it. Some things are out of our control, or God forbid, our daughters’. The world is the world. Right now, Gardasil is quite expensive, under-compensated or not covered by many insurance carriers, and very difficult to find.

I hear that Al is installing solar panels on the considerable expanse of his large house’s roof.

Good to have Meowmix back after a long absense.

Randy stumed me on the Lockbox.

I wanted to have solar panels put in here, but they would never pay themselves off. Very expensive, although I’m sure it would help the environment.
