Too late to party
The last time Chicago was in the Big Game, I went to a buddy’s house here in Lausanne and we watched the Bears clobber the opposing team (no, I don’t remember who it was). It was great fun because the buddy and his buddies were all Bear fans and I’d only been out of the USA a year so I knew all the players.
Now I’m 21 years older, so going to bed so I can get up at 1 am and watch the game in French without the commercials until 4 am just doesn’t cut it, especially with Prince at half-time.
Oh yes… I did watch some last year. And there was a really old band at half-time…
I’m picking the Colts by a couple of touchdowns. Let me know if you recorded the game. WITH commercials…

No recording here on the East Coast. It was a nice touch at the start of the game for a moment of silence for the 20 folks here in Central Florida who died as a result of the line of tornadoes that came through this past Friday.

Didn’t record it. Barely watched it. Colts won, though.

I watched it. I ate way too much too. I had six slices of pizzas, four sodas, some of those little BBQ weenies, chips and salsa, and a donut at church. It does not matter how many times I brush my teeth, I can still taste the garlic and onions.
Brady and anyone else who missed the commercials, if you want to see the commercials you can view them online at youtube, google, yahoo, and probably some other places. My favorite was the Blockbuster one with the mouse. The rock, paper, beer was also good. Hopefully next year will be the 49ers year.

That was my prediction as well…we hit it pretty close too. As for the game, it was pretty sloppy. I’m happy for Manning though. He plays the game with class and dignity…pretty rare these days.

I’ll never eat a snicker again!
