Sherlock
Wife, Son 1 and Son 2 are all Sherlock Holmes’ fans. I just learned last night at the dinner table that the famous detective was a drug user. I asked which drug and found out it was heroine.
The conversation shifted to how you take certain drugs. "Can you sniff heroine?", Daughter asked. No, we answered. You inject heroine.
Son 2 corrected Daughter. "For your information, you don’t sniff cocaine. I think the proper term is snork!", which absolutely cracked us all up and made it nearly impossible to finish our meal.
Then Son 2 kindly consented to let me write about it all on today’s post…

We missed you at church today. Today was Harvest Day at College CofC. Dan Rodriquez gave a great message from Psalm 69 and 2 Cor. 9:12-15 and talked about reaching the people of Europe, Asia, and Africa. You and your wife’s names were mention several times though. They even had your picture up on the screen. If I was not mistaken, I think they had a picture of your daughter in a DRESS. If my eyes are correct, what drug did you give her, to get that dress on her???
Tonight is also the first day of the church soccer(football). Go “The Young and The Restless” team!!!

Life would be much more dull were we not allowed to tell stories on our children, mates, friends, and dogs!

Didn’t Sherlock also coin the phrase, “I “snork,” therefore I’m high.”

No, Cecil, it was Holmes who said, “When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbably, must be the snork.” Then he said, “Please pass the opium.”

Who says you need your children to consent before you write about them? Have them check the fine print. When they start paying rent we start asking for consent.
